We are sorry to inform you that [ALEXANDROS] drummer Satoyasu Shomura will take a break from live performance.

Due to myofascial low back pain cause by accumulated fatigue, Shomura has been taking some rest for treatment since April 2019. Besides the back pain, he was also experiencing different condition where “he had a trouble playing the bass drums.” While undergoing further examination at the end of May, he was diagnosed with “Focal Dystonia”.

We have judged that he will need some time to focus on treatment and will take a break from live performance for a while.

After extensive discussing with the band members and staffs, Shomura intends to participate in other activities where he can, in consulting with the doctor. We will try our best to come back as a full band as soon as possible.

For upcoming shows, Riad Ibu from BIGMAMA will support the band as a drummer.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our fans and anyone involved.

庄村の今後の活動について

いつも [ALEXANDROS]を応援していただき、誠にありがとうございます。

突然ではございますが [ALEXANDROS]ドラムス庄村聡泰はしばらくの間、ライブ活動をお休みさせていただく事をお知らせ致します。

2019年4月に疲労の蓄積による筋筋膜性腰痛症の加療のため、しばらく休養をいただいておりました。

この腰痛とは別に「バスドラムがうまく踏めない」という症状もあり、5月の終わりに精密検査を受けたところ「局所性ジストニア」との診断を受けました。

今まで通りの演奏をするには充分な治療期間を取る必要があると判断し、しばらくの間ライブ活動はお休みさせていただきます。

メンバー・スタッフで協議を重ねた結果、ライブ以外の活動は医師と相談の上、可能な範囲で継続していく所存です。一日も早く、みなさまの前で演奏ができるよう治療に努めて参ります。

また、今後のライブ活動に関しては基本的にBIGMAMAのリアド偉武がドラマーとしてサポートする予定です。
